Lamai Walker, RN is a valued practice member since 2012. Her roll has evolved as her degrees have changed. She has worked as our Medical Assistant, Aesthetician, Front Desk, LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) and her most recent achievement, RN (Registered Nurse). She has become an integral part of our practice and has moved into her role as our laser nurse with ease. Her calm and informative demeanor is an asset to keeping our patient’s at ease before and during their procedures. Lamai continues to do aesthetic work too. She performs chemical peels, micro needling and brow shaping. As our laser nurse, she performs Nano Peels, BBL(Broad Band Light) treatments and SkinTyte.

Shameen will often be the first smiling face you see upon entering the Aesthetic Surgery Center. Originally from Southern California, Shameen moved to the San Francisco Bay Area In 2009 to pursue a degree in International Politics and Economics, with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa. Since graduating from Mills college in 2013, Shameen has worked in such diverse industries as Stanford West and American Red Cross with a focus on excellent customer service, communication and best business practices.Shameen‘s extensive training and close working relationship with physicians in the dermatology and aesthetic fields have made her a wonderful and valuable addition to our team. She works closely with Dr. McDonald in the front office as well as the back office, and cares for patients directly.Shameen has a strong background in the beauty industry working as a freelance make-up artist and salon administrator across the bay area. Her commitment and passion for skin care and make-up artistry led her to attend the Cinta Aveda Institute where she became a Licensed Aesthetician. Her advanced skin care training includes Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning, Micro Needling, Chemical Peels and overall skin care. She is an expert in improving skin conditions related to acne, pigmentation irregularities, post acne scarring and skin aging. She will customize your treatment plan to address these skin conditions and educate you to effectively care for your skin concerns at home. She believes that investing in your skin provides benefits that will last a lifetime.
A nurse since 2009, Anna brings a background in rehabilitation nursing and wound care to the Aesthetic Surgery Center. Prior to her nursing life, she worked an archaeologist and is forever-curious about history, culture, and the things that all humans have in common.Her main aesthetic goal for her clients is to create and maintain a vibrant, natural appearance. She loves helping people feel great about themselves, and that always begins with accepting people as they are. It’s her favorite thing to get at what people want for themselves, and to create a treatment plan that faciliates those goals. Anna loves getting to witness, track and celebrate change and progress!When not doing laser peels and BBL treatments at the Aesthetic Surgery Center, she loves to explore new restaurants in the bay area, handstitch leathergoods, do crafts with her young son, bake bread and do hot yoga/Pilates.Anna can’t wait to get to know you and help you reach your aesthetic goals!

Keara has been working in aesthetic medicine for ten years, on both the East and West Coasts. She thrives on helping patients feel more comfortable and at ease before and after their procedures. Originally from Ohio, she now lives in the North Bay with her husband and overgrown Vizsla puppy, Penny Lane. She loves live music, talking about skincare, & the Golden State Warriors.
